Double Feature Thursday
During the second or third week of the pandemic, my sister and I decided to embark on a cinematic odyssey of weekly double features, pulling from a vast and meticulously-curated list of film genres. Genres as broad as “Book Adaptations” or “Best Picture Winners”, or as specific and niche as “Nunsploitation” or “The Jake Gyllenhaal of Fame”. Through this blog, I’ve crossed movies off of my watchlist and I’ve watched movies that I might’ve never seen on my own, hidden gems and best-kept-hidden films—all that have opened my mind and broadened my filmic horizons.
