Sh*a LaBeouf

Lili’s pick: Disturbia

Lanie’s pick: Transformers

In addition to having a career as a serial abuser, Shia LaBeouf also has had a career of starring in excellent films. From Holes to The Even Stevens Movie, from Constantine to Honey Boy, the illustrious list of lovable films this man has appeared in only adds to the disappointment that comes with his recent (but let’s be real, ongoing) problematic behavior. Shia LaBeouf Classics was a genre my sister and I viewed before his recent allegations came to light, when the thirst for him was still in full effect, and neither of us wish to celebrate his performances. I will, however, state that Disturbia and Transformers were enjoyable to watch at the time, and both provided a unique, grainy kind of nostalgia that only 2007 could offer. There will no longer be any Shia LaBeouf films featured during Double Feature Thursday. We stand with FKA Twigs and all survivors.
